disparate elements / 12"
Further Reductions is the live project of husband and wife Shawn (aka Vapauteen, 400ppm, Led Er Est) and Katie O'Sullivan (aka Rose E Kross, ppG), based in New York City. Back in 2014 they released their gorgeous debut album on Cititrax Records. The album is an adventurous trip where they pushed forward a very unique sound. After all those years there will be a follow up by this ep on Knekelhuis. Expect a fusion of different sounds, being grimy and pretty at the same time..!

cocktail mexico / 10"
Laurène Exposito is back with a follow up to her well received debut album from last year on Knekelhuis. This new record turned out to be very personal. Life changes and love's stranges are central themes in all its shapes, sizes and colors. Still, hope takes centerstage. All tracks have been recorded at Laurène's home in the French Alps, using analog gear. Take a 'Cocktail Mexico' and immerse yourself into her liberating new trip. This 10" comes with intimate inlay. Nice Work ;)

Artist : Job Sifre

bestaan / 12"
Job Sifre is one of the guys bringing new blood into the Amsterdam scene. 'Bestaan' is the follow-up to his recently released debut on the new Artifical Dance label. Charged with a pharmaceutically-enhanced restlessness, this new 12" goes on darker, tuffer, kinkier than Sifre's previous 12", gradually bringing the energies to simmering point with the smudged EBM roil and blunted Dutch vox of "Bestaan", then working a wicked ruts of White House White-styled jakbeat in "Zodiak" and the sourer, metallic recoil of "Mars Express", and properly making your body wurk with the pendulous tattoo, "Zeno Dicho" before sloping off into the darkroom with the slower disco admission, "At Least We Try". Beautiful complementary artwork by Stefan Unkovic. Tip!!

m appeal / 12"
Smersh was the much revered project of New Jersey duo Mike Mangino & Chris Shepard. Together they recorded more than 30 albums throughout the 80's and early 90's. Their vision: rehearsal at monday night, record their improvisations, no live performances, only albums. 'M Appeal' compiled archive tracks certainly recorded in the mid 80's. Nieuwegein's most warped mind Parrish Smith, on remix duty.. TIP!

kale plankieren - dutch cassette rarities 1981 - 1985 volume I / LP
Featuring a wide range of artists (Das Ding, Plus Instruments, De Fabriek for a start!) from the Amsterdam Fetish scene and cities such as Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and Zwolle. It gives a glimpse into the artistic DiY music movement that was growing extensively outside of mainstream circles. The beautifully printed record sleeve was designed by Steele Bonus. It includes liner notes (in English and Dutch) that paint a great picture of the context where these bands and artists lived and breathed. It is compiled by Mark van de Maat and mastered by Rude 66.
